See yourself in your LSU home

If you’re on campus, drop by the Housing Tour Center on the corner of Highland Road and Veterans Drive to see an example residence hall room, chat with a housing ambassador, and see other room styles through interactive, virtual tours Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., excluding university holidays and move-in week.

Select residence halls are shown on daily campus tours. Housing Tours are also featured as part of the Bengal Bound Orientation agenda for all first-year students. 

Housing Tour Options

Housing tours are offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. March 2 – May 1, 2026, excluding university holidays and special events. Please plan for a 45-60 minute walking tour, beginning at the Housing Tour Center on the corner of Highland Road and Veterans Drive in front of the LSU Barnes & Noble. 

If you are also registered for the Admitted Student Tour at 1:00 p.m., please let our Housing Ambassadors know at check-in. They will make sure you have plenty of time to check in at the Geaux Center, located at the Student Union

 

What will I see on the tour?

Spring Housing Tours are designed for high school seniors who are looking to see the variety of housing options LSU has to offer! Guests should expect to see various room styles and bathroom layouts on this tour, including three residence halls and one first-year apartment. Our Housing Tour Center also features a sample residence hall showroom and the opportunity to explore virtual, interactive tours of all of our first-year communities while you're here.

When you check in for your tour, you’ll be able to talk with our student Housing Ambassadors about your interests. They’ll make sure to highlight housing options that may be a good fit for you during your visit.

Eye of the Tiger 

Eye of the Tiger an on-campus, academically focused event for admitted students. The event is designed to provide admitted students with the opportunity to view LSU through the lens of a current student.

Destination LSU

Destination LSU is the premier visit opportunity for admitted students. The event is designed to celebrate students' admission to LSU, show them why LSU is their smartest investment, and ultimately get them to decide that LSU is where they should call home in the Fall.

Spring Invitational Bengal Bound Orientation

During Bengal Bound, incoming tigers will learn how to take full advantage of all the academic programs, student life services, and extracurricular activities Louisiana State University has to offer. Families are encouraged to participate in Bengal Bound programs and learn more about what their tigers will be experiencing next fall!

Monday-Friday: March 9-13

Campus Tours begin with an admissions information session, followed by a walking tour of campus, including housing and optional senior college programming.

Group tours are intended for school groups or organizations made up of high school students. Group tours may be scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and need to be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Tours could last 30-60 minutes.
