Scholarships
The College of the Coast & Environment, or CC&E, is able to offer scholarships for
its students through the generous support of donors committed to preserving, protecting,
and sustaining the coastal environment for generations to come.
How to Apply
Most of CC&E’s scholarships are awarded via Blackbaud Award Management (BAM), an online platform managed by the LSU Foundation.
Awards are divided into three categories:
- Auto-match: Students do not need to complete an application for the award. If they meet the requirements, they will automatically be applied by the system.
- Apply to: Students are required to submit an application in Blackbaud for each separate award.
- Travel: Students can apply for awards to assist with expenses related to travel throughout the year via our online form prior to the trip.
Incoming Students
A General Application will automatically be created in BAM for incoming students based on the information provided on the LSU Admissions Common Application. The CC&E Undergraduate Awards Committee will review the applications in mid-March to meet the March 31st university deadline for recipient selection for awards available to incoming students.
Current Students
Continuing students must create an application for available awards in Blackbaud. Students should review their information in BAM each academic year to ensure the most accurate information is on file for review. This also applies to renewable scholarships. Applications for non-travel CC&E awards available to current students will be reviewed in early August by the respective CC&E or Department Awards Committee. Please make sure all information in BAM is updated by July 30th.

CC&E Scholarships
The award amounts listed are indications of previous awards but are not guaranteed amounts. The amount can vary annually based on market performance and other conditions. Some awards may not be available every year and some may be awarded to multiple students.
- For auto-match awards, students do not need to complete an application, as they will be automatically applied for the award if they meet the requirements.
- Apply to awards require students to submit an application in Blackbaud for each award.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must be enrolled in the LSU College of the Coast & Environment on a full-time basis. Additional qualifications are specified in the description of each scholarship.
