Welcome Week

August 16-23, 2026

Welcome Week is the final phase of your orientation to LSU. This exciting event takes place right before the semester begins so that you can be completely comfortable and prepared to start your experience at LSU.

We know that students who attend Welcome Week are more confident when they start classes and are more successful throughout their time at LSU. This is because they have had the time to meet new friends, have learned about the resources that will help them to be successful here at LSU, and know what it means to be a true LSU Tiger. It’s also a lot of fun! Attendance at Welcome Week August 16-23 is mandatory for all members of the Class of 2030, and we can’t wait to see you back on campus!

Welcome Week Schedule

Most of the events Monday - Wednesday are required for new students and will be noted on the schedule. Pre-Registration will begin on Monday, June 29th, keep an eye out for the email!
